DKIM Checker

DKIM adds a digital signature to your email. Send us one message and we'll check whether the signature is valid and belongs to the same domain as the From address.

What we check

  • DKIM is a digital signature. A pass means the signature is valid. It does not mean List-Unsubscribe or Feedback-ID were covered.
  • DKIM is a digital signature on the message. This row passes when the signature is valid and the signing domain matches the visible From address.

FAQ

Do I need to know my DKIM selector?

No. A selector is the name that points to the public key in DNS. We read it from the signature on the message you send.

What does a DKIM pass mean?

A pass means the digital signature is valid. The signed content was not altered after it was signed. Coverage of List-Unsubscribe or Feedback-ID is a different check on the report.

What does DKIM alignment mean?

Alignment means the signing domain and the visible From address share the same main domain. mail.example.com and example.com count as a match.
